Staff will handle and give consequences for Tier 1 and 2 behavioral challenges. The staff member to deal with the situation is responsible for inputting it into SWIS. Some Tier 2 interventions require parents to be contacted and give consent. If a staff member feels that the behavior is reoccurring, please contact your site administrator for next steps.

 

Tier 1 and 2 interventions should be tried consistently at a minimum of 4-6 weeks and monitored for effectiveness with data. If no improvement after implementing multiple Tier 1 strategies, move to Tier 2. Tier 2 behaviors still need to be added into SWIS by teachers (only leadership can input majors). Once you have done Tier 1 and possibly Tier 2 interventions and are still having difficulties, please fill out the SST form. List the things you have tried consistently and for how long.

 

Tier 3 interventions will only be implemented by the site administrator in coordination with parent/guardians
